Dior_Son_Of_Luthien

Dior is the son of Beren and Luthien. After their death the Silmaril set in Nauglamir, the Necklace of the Dwarves was brought to him.
“Then Dior arose, and around his neck he clasped the Nauglamir; and now he appeared as the fairest of all the children in the world, of threefold race: of the Edain, and of the Eldar, and of the Maiar of the Blessed Realm”

I have kept this image almost entirely monochrome except for the stars, the Dwarven Necklace and the Silmaril. Next to their light and beauty, even the fairest of the children of Iluvatar seem faded and pale.
